# Read Asset Permalinks

/v1/:slug/assets/permalink_urls
```

Returns the permanent public URL of every requested asset that has one, optionally rendered at a given size. Read-only: it never publishes an asset, so an asset without a permalink comes back with a null one — call add\_permalinks first. Unlike the short-lived URLs from /assets/transform, these do not expire. `width` and `height` apply to images only; every other media type is served at its stored size.
